“Chromatic Cliffs” takes inspiration from the natural surroundings and elevates the scenery outdoors with superimposed layers of vibrant watercolor. It is a digital collage made from overlaying watercolor paintings over a panoramic photograph. The image depicted in the piece is Bumpass Hell, a trail that weaves through magnificent sulfuric fields in Lassen National Park.
