2014-Bungalow

Bungalow 平房, 2014

This adaptable shelter was created using a combination of analog and digital fabrication techniques. Materials include: PVC pipe, canvas, plywood and cope. Ideally it holds two people. Designed and fabricated with Caroline Kable, Austin Peppel, and Mike Chiarella as part of a course on Digital Fabrication taught by Ryan Hoover.

Aside from general construction and design, my contribution to this project involved using processing to create a 3D pattern in Grasshopper. The pattern is then translated into G-code for the CNC and printed with fabric marker onto a canvas pattern.
